Because I don't know which day works best for you or how often you work on your blog or business tasks, I don't want to put pressure on you by dictating a specific day you should focus on accessibility tasks. That's why you have complete control and you can tell me what day and how often you want to receive reminders (any day, once a week, every fortnight, or once a month) in the onboarding survey
You can either post your accessibility priority in our private community, where we’ll hold you accountable and cheer you on, or answer two quick questions inside the Check-Ins module so that only you and me know what you're working on!
- What is the private community, and how do I join?
The private community is an exclusive space for all members of Accessibility Allies Assembled where you'll share your accessibility-related priority, connect with me and fellow allies, and celebrate all your wins! You will receive instructions to access the community in your welcome email and through a dedicated module.
I completely understand that not everyone is comfortable in a community setting so there is no pressure to join in 💚
- How do I earn digital badges and certificates?
Each month, you'll have the opportunity to earn a unique badge or certificate by completing one accessibility mission. You'll find the missions in both the private community and a dedicated module for easy access. When you earn a new badge or certificate, a celebration pop-up will appear with instructions to view your newest collectible!
- What is "Ask Ami Anything Accessibility," and how does it work?
Once a month, you can submit a question about accessibility via the Ask Ami Anything Accessibility module. Between the 1st and 3rd of each month, I’ll provide a personalized answer. If you think your question and answer could benefit other members, we can share it in the community (either anonymously or with your name).
*Or four questions a month if you opt for Tier Two.
- How do the monthly and quarterly draws work?
Monthly Draw - Each month, all members who receive the month's unique badge/certificate will be entered into a spin-the-wheel type of draw to win a Brief Barrier Breakdown and there will be THREE lucky winners chosen at random.
If you didn't win the previous month, your name will be entered twice into the next monthly draw, no luck with the second month either? Your name will be entered three times in the next draw - you get the idea!
Quarterly Draw - Every three months, all members will have THREE entries each per draw to win an Actionable Accessibility Audit and there will be ONE lucky winner. If you didn't win the previous quarter, your name will be entered an additional three times in the next quarterly draw!
For every quarter that your name isn't drawn, you'll receive three additional entries in the next quarterly draw and so on!
- What is the Accessibility Allies Directory, and how can I be featured?
The Accessibility Allies Directory is to showcase members who are actively taking steps to improve their accessibility. Once you’ve earned the Accessibility Ally badge and certificate, and with your consent, you’ll be added to the directory. This is a fantastic way to promote your blog or online business to a wider audience!
- Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yep! You can cancel your membership at any time. If you decide to come back at any point then you can re-join with the original pricing you paid the first time around.
Also, before you cancel, you will have the option to decide if you want to keep your details and progress saved in the system, meaning if you rejoin in the future, your progress and badge/certificate collection will resume from before you left (I know this is unheard of in the online space 😲)!
If you cancel your membership and choose to have your details and progress deleted from the system, then rejoin in the future, you'll begin with zero (0) badges or certificates.
- What if I’m not satisfied with the membership?
